Why Financial Advisors Should Do Seminars

An Advisor asked me how I liked seminars for a prospecting idea. The answer is ‘I love seminars’. Here are a couple of reasons why.

Number one, I think we are like doctors.

You, folks, are like doctors. The more people you see, the more money you make. If you can get fifty people in a room in one night, you’ve done a month’s worth of work in terms of talking to new people. This is one reason why I really like seminars.

I also like seminars because the audience tends to bond with the speaker.

If you can get up there and speak, people bond with you. If you don’t feel you’re a really good speaker or you’re somewhat intimidated, have a wholesaler do it, have someone do it, but really, practice on your own, till you can do it yourself.
