This is a true story of a young boy being sent home from school with a note from his teacher. The boy happened to be deaf. The note said – “This boy is too stupid to learn.”

The boy’s mother disagreed. So she began teaching him at home. That boy eventually grew up, grew old and died. When he died, America turned off its lights for a full one minute as a tribute to Thomas Alva Edison.
Edison died with more than 1000 patents to his name, including the light bulb. The motion picture and the phonograph record player, all from a kid too stupid to learn.
Nobody’s holding you back but you.
